Wall Mounting Plate for the EGO Rapid Charger: Get It Off the Bench and On to the Wall

Out of the box, the CH5500 hangs from two small holes in its own housing. EGO rates the combined weight of the charger and a battery at up to 10.6 lbs, and all of it hangs off those two screws. This mounting plate takes over that job. The charger slides down onto the backing plate and seats into place, then reinforcing brackets underneath carry the load from below instead of leaving it to hang.

• Four Point Mounting: Reinforced screw holes spread the load across four fasteners instead of two, for a mount that stays where you put it.
• Mounts to Any Wall: Attaches to plywood, studs, or masonry, and to drywall with appropriate anchors rated for the load.
• Thickened Fastener Bosses: Extra material around every screw hole so the plate does not crush, deform, or pull through over time.

• Ready for the Heaviest Packs: EGO normally rates a loaded charger and battery at up to 10.6 lbs, this is designed to take well over double that. This plate is built and braced to carry it without sag or creep.

• Printed in ABS, the engineering thermoplastic used for power tool housings. It stays rigid when it gets hot.
• Most 3D printed mounts sold today are PETG, a hobby-grade filament. In a hot garage, shed, or trailer, PETG softens under the sustained weight of a hanging tool.
